Hi guys,

i recently build the set up as shown on the right. i am using a DVI cable from graphic card to my monitor and it works fine.

i tried connecting a secondary display (TV) by using a hdmi cable from my TV to the graphic card but the TV was not detected. i tried connecting just the TV (without the primary DVI monitor) and there is also no image.

tried the hdmi cable from laptop and it works fine. so ruling out that the problem is with the cable or the TV

any idea how to resolve this?

Then it means the hdmi port on your gpu is damaged. if possible, try using another hdmi to confirm. test with your laptop as well.

Since your monitor is being connected via DVI, you left with HDMI liao, sadly. And if the same HDMI cable can work with your laptop and TV but not from gpu to TV, den your gpu hdmi port nt functioning le.

Best to RMA it. Sadly, you cant use the mini displayport...

TS, if your house is near Corbell, just bring your gpu to check.

U got change the Input on your TV to HDMI? I think some TVs won't auto-detect unlike monitors.

further updates, i connect the hdmi cable directly to my mobo hdmi port instead of the graphic cards and it works.. however i can only extend the desktop using this configuration and cannot mirror the screen on both display..

Graphics driver? What driver is Corbell using, maybe update to the latest driver and see if it's working.
