Hi all

I have a Sapphire HD 3450 AGP card. I reinstalled my Windows XP and when I boot in, my graphic card is not shown under Device Manager.

I tried to install the driver, but it is still not showing.

However, I am connected to the graphic card and when I see the setting under display, the driver seems to be Vga driver. Not sure what it is.

Any idea on how to make my computer shows my graphic card under device manager?

Hi are you currently connected to the gpu? Try obtaining the latest drive from ati website. This link is for xp 64 bit AMD Catalyst

right click on display adapter uninstall vga driver. Followed by executing ati application setup for new catalyst driver.

Since this is a clean install, I assume that you have not installed all drivers . The graphic card is not shown as windows is currently using a generic driver for the graphic card. In order to see your card, you are required to download the latest driver for your graphic card from AMD website. Install the driver and you should be able to see your card
