2 more days for RTX 2080 Super to release. Palit now already dropped the RTX 2080 to 800+ and make its RTX 2080 ti 1.6k double the price.

The RTX 2080S is just a few percentage points faster than RTX 2080. Not worth bothering.

You guys seriously think prices in SG will drop? I suspect the added word "Super", will chop more.

Super or not, I feel its worthwhile to give this generation a pass if you are no in need of a graphic card. Whilst Nvidia is trying to hype up ray tracing, the reality is none of the existing cards are capable of a delivering a good enough performance with RT enabled. DLSS is there, but Nvidia's logic for DLSS is not to push for absolute performance, but more to make sure that you can run RT at a resolution they deem as acceptable at approx 60 FPS. Even a RTX 2080 Ti can't really do more than 1080p if you crank up the RT settings. So what is the point?

People are getting sick and tired of paying extreme prices.

The upper ceiling of gpu price have doubled or more.

So wait for 3 days later to see if price drop after 2080 Super is released. Btw, where is best place to get these cards? Newgg? Amazon? Lazada? Or direct from Sim Lim?

Most review said rtx 2080 super only 8% gain or some game benchmark even lower than rtx 2080. Most not interesting card from nvidia. I thought will close to rtx 2080 ti. I was wrong.
