Hi, I long time didn't play PC game. As my current PC is running GTX680. The graphic card now seems quite expensive compare to last time. Not sure if I really need a RTX 2080 Ti.

1) Should I go ahead and get a RTX 2080 Ti? or
2) Wait for Super to announce? or
3) Get lower model (What games can I play or to avoid?)

Would glad to hear your opinion.

I will play star citizen, may thinking of get VR gear too.

If you are not a hardcore gamer and pc, just get a series 10
nvidia graphics card.

Easier to determine which graphics card you should get after knowing what resolution and refresh rate will you be playing the games at.

Full HD, QHD or 4k? 60hz or 144hz or 240hz?

For example, no point getting a 2080 Ti if you'll only be playing gaming on Full HD @ 60hz, as it'll be super overkill

Anything above 1060 is good enough for VR and Star Citizen, but we gotta know your budget 1st. 2080ti might be overkill depending on the games you're playing.
