Hi guys, I have a HP Pavilion p6680d (mostly stock, only ram upgraded) and I'm looking to upgrade my graphic card (will also upgrade PSU).

I'm looking for that graphic card that would fit in the CPU, at the same time have the ability to run most newer games(AC3, COD, SimCity etc) at high or even ultra settings.

Budget: $275 (excludes PSU)

An advice for a better PSU would also be appreciated.

Thanks in advance! Have a nice day!

You are advisable to change your CPU to a quad core, preferably Core i5-7xx for minimal spending, since more of these games you wish to play will need the extra cores for optimal performance.

Consider these also:

GPU: PowerColor HD 7870 2GB @ $285 (Tradepac)
PSU: Seasonic S12II 520W [80 Plus Bronze] @ $75 (Tradepac)

or

MSI GTX 660 2GB Twin Frozr OC + Seasonic S12II 520W @ $399 (PC Themes)

Both of the cards will fit in your chassis since your motherboard is 244mm wide while these cards fall under that length. :)
