Graphic LAG on CS Online

Good evening to all.

I have stop playing computer or online game for around 2 yrs and decided to play cs online together with my frens.

to my surprise, it lag like hell. cant even aim n shoot.

but i think i met the required system to play the game.

i also sure that i have no network problem. im on 200mb fiber.

do i really need a new CPU?

What's your com spec?

The game sucks a lot even though I love 1.6

It could be server side that's causing the lag. My fps will be maxed out but there will always be delays.

You need Windows 7.

It will run on windows XP perfectly fine.

I used to play cs 1.6 with no problem.

anyway I bought this in yr 2008.
Spec as follows
Intel core 2 quad 2.5ghz
3 gb ddr2 1066 ram
9600gt 512mb graphics
500gb hdd
Win xp

Is it too outdated??

kena outdated. Time for a change. Keep the HDD and casing. Get a new 4th gen intel cpu, mobo, ddr3 ram, window 7, psu and a minimum gtx 750ti or R7 260.

please lah cs1.6 requirements is very low

I know XP can support, but the influx of potential virus/malware/adware/spyware attacks on EOLed XP is going to make the system hogged and insecure. TS's system is probably bloated with all sorts of necessary stuffs. A reformat may help, and he should change it to Windows 7 at the same time.

Your specs is okay for the game.

Yeah totally forgot about the OpenGL.
Change from 3D3 to OpenGL.

Well, you could upgrade your pc and try CS:GO ^^
Play GO never going back to 1.6/CSO
