Graphics card gone ?

Hi

I’m using a EVGA gtx 780. All of a sudden it’s showing red lines. And device manager says “windows has stopped this device because it has reported problem”. I’ve tried to rollback driver but still same problem. Tried changing mobo and it’s not the mobo. Tried taking it up and dusting it.

Is this card up lorry?

Try ddu then reinstall driver.
Maybe run some benchmarks, see if it will artifact even more. Might even auto shutdown in some cases.

DDU stands for display driver uninstaller, you can just google it, it's a program used to wipe all known drivers, normally we do this to make sure drivers are not a cause for gpu issues, because despite clicking on clean install, remnants will remain.

Not even kidding, PSU normally 5 to 10 years warranty right, but can die as soon as 2 to 3 years of constant use. Even though still covered, but always the a**hole creating issues for the entire system.

My seasonic lasted 6 years, 2 Corsair rm850 both lasted < 3 years. Idk if I got some faulty batch or what. And when Corsair PSU fail, they don't fail fully, they still let you operate and game a bit, making you think that something else is at fault. But after days of troubleshooting, changing out the PSU solved the problem. Because of this, I steered away from Corsair already.

I think that's what happening to me now. My previous PC with China brand PSU lasted 10 years! But recent cooler master PSU of 7 years starting to fail. (I know, 7 years is very good already.)
