Graphics card issue?

I tried switching on my desktop but it kept restarting.

Even if it manages to go to the windows screen, the resolution is at 800 x 600 instead of 1920 x 1080.

Checked the device manager and it showed an exclamation mark at the display device.

Did diagnostic and it showed graphic device error 43.

Anyone can advise?

Have you reinstalled your GPU drivers

This sounds like a software issue. I would boot up into safe mode then go to device manager, delete the display driver (right click - uninstall). Reboot the PC. It will still appear big but should then auto install the driver and solve the problem!

if you did all the necessary steps to rule out software fault ( reinstall windows, DDU, etc), error 43 is also known to be hardware failure( need to replace GPU)
