Grassroots : Why we must join

The growing number of new citizens and PR in the grassroots is a growing concern, even with the grassroot lao Jiao..

Does Singaporean just want to give up on their own country?

You pay tax for them to enjoy the benefits?

Carpark, priority bto and pri sch within the grc/smc. Networking with towkays and MPs. BBM PBM status. Free buffet

I think i will last for a few months bah, because my objectives are different.

Having said that, I hope to encourage more to join so that I will not be outnumbered..

Objectives aside la. The newcomers...unless u are brought in by some towkay or the mp. Ur role will be mainly food/goodir bag distribution at events.

Even as lowly role, should be able to look at how grassroot works.

I do not need to reach the leader role because I am not eyeing for those priority thing.. so not an issue to me.

Opp is just volunteer nia. Volunteer and party member different.

TS already said he's not in for the perks.

Those are PAP members/volunteers. Currently, they may be holding dual role as both grassroot and PAP now, but not necessary you need to attend PAP events.

Just wear WP polo tee and turn up to meeting one day, you will be asked to leave the group.

Not a member not an issue, since I am not going after the perks.

I just want to know how this government organization, funded generously by tax payer, been taken over by opportunists for so long. What can be done so that it can better serve the community. If more light minded person here think the same, it will be better.

I am already volunteering for a NGOs for long time...
