Suggest you go try other instrument better. See the "guaranteed" and "projected" returns. The only policy u buy from insurance company are term life insurance and health insurance. Other than that, ask them fk off.

Usually this kind of saving is for those people who have no financial knowledge. If you do, there are always other ways to save money and on top of that. You have FULL control over it.

For your info, there are different types of instruments such as bonds, stocks.. E.g. POSB Invest Saver.

Recall the reasons why you need a saving plan.

There are other forced-saving methods.

Depending on when you get your policy document, the free look can start from when you get it, not just from the day you sign

Very unlikely to get back your 2 months premium.

For 25 years, might as well put into CPF SA to get tax relief as well as return of 4% that will definitely beat the insurance maturity amount and with less risk of government up lorry than insurance company during the period, unless your are more concerned with insurance than returns.

Your 1k is effectively the money you paid in the previous years with minimal interests.

Cut now or lose more money in the future.

If u wan to cancel the policy, don't think about how much u alr put in. The money u paid is alr a sunk cost. Many ppl make the mistake of basing their decision on something they can't change.

If it is not capital guaranteed at maturity, then don't bother

They told me if one year put 3k is able to get back 1k

This amount will be deducted from your guaranteed value I believe
