That's why I sold off my T3 and have never wanted to buy
back it cuz of the lousy remote.
It's ridiculous and guys please don't spend such money
especially since it is quality issue problem.
Whether new or old, I feel the knob will breakdown.
Once I did tear up the volume knob to take a look
inside to why it keep failing.
When I work with my dad whom is a electrical expert,
he noticed that the soldering inside are very poorly done.

My previous speakers like Creative Inspire 2500, Creative Inspire L3500
and many more do have volume problem knob issues.
In the past yearly I will change to a Creative speaker
knowing that once a year up the product can never last.
Constant turning on the knob will make it wear and tear.
To make matter worse, the workmanship is not top notch
so it may breakdown eventually after some time.
Seriously Creative should step up their quality control, improve the T3
design and put it as optional parts where people can just buy.
