Hada Labo cost around 700~800 yen at Family Mart Osaka , can't remember the exact price. A must have before the dry chilling wind break your skin. =:p

Does those ahem... interesting DVDs and books count?:s13: They're suprising cheap over there...:D

Ok on a more serious note, if you're a Timberland fan, you'd be glad to know that the Timberland outlet store at Rera Outlet Mall at Chitose offers cheaper Timberland products than what's available here in SG.

A typical mid cut Timberland cross terrain shoe cost just SGD$70 over there. You can't get any Timberland shoes for such $$ in SG

How do u know if they have that?

i am not sure if they advertise on their webpage. sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. I have picked up pants at 50% just randomly at one store, but it's not available at another store just around the corner. I guess Japan rewards you for shopping around?

Adding on, if you are in Osaka region, a chain of supermarkets called 'Tame-de' are excellent for budget groceries. And everyday, they will feature one item that is sold for just 1-yen.

If you are fond of Japanese groceries and foodstuff, supermarkets are ur best bet for extreme savings. Almost every Japanese sauce, noodles etc will be 30-50% off SG prices.

Daiso, or other 100 yen shops, is 100 yen ($1.25), compared to $2 in SG.

I saw the tv show(kenmin show) featuring the 1 yen shop. It's the no 1 supermarket to go in osaka!

Haha and how do u know we couldn't?? *wink wink*:s13::D

Can keep replaying the DVDs till song song:s13::D

Den-den town in Osaka and Akiba back alleys have some ero-video shops where they will place boxes of old ahem DVDs for sale, as cheap as Y100-200 yen.

But if you're checked by SG customs, then good luck to you, as it's purely your luck if they are going to fine you for obscene materials.
