Thought the SJWs say drugs are harmless and drug traffickers are the victims of the evil gahmen?

Ehhhh.... I think you are the one who dunno.

14 Feb is a WESTERN "tradition" of Valentine's day. That is to honour a guy who kena beheaded by the Romans.

七夕held on 七月初七 is the chinese tradition of valentine's day due to the 牛郎织女 story where the magpies will form a bridge for the cowherd and the weaving fairy to reunite.

The whole "ghost festival" thing came later and the so-called "actual day" that the ghosts "supposedly come out" is actually 七月十五。The dumbest thing out of the whole 七月 thing started wayyyyy back in the 80s when ghost and vampire movies out of Hong Kong spurred so many fake legends and fake traditions out of the imaginations of so many scriptwriters of that era. The movies were a big hit, and it affected actual traditions to the point where it comes crazy.

Oh yah, that whole thing about "wedding gatecrashing"? This is not a tradition at all. But this was born out of a TVB Police Drama in the late-80s where in one of the episodes (I think it was the final episodes), the policeman married the madam and then the madam's friends made the policeman do the whole dumb gatecrashing nonsense.

Yah. Hong Kong is the originator of all those what dumb "fake news traditions" that is responsible for majority of the stupidity that goes on these days.
Power lah bro. We have a "historian" in the house!

A shocking murder occurred in Seattle, USA. A Chinese woman was killed by her boyfriend who was high on marijuana and ecstasy and dumped in a bathtub.

Local media Fox13 reported that the 26-year-old defendant Andy Chu was suspected of killing his 25-year-old girlfriend Zoey Yun from Hawaii and was charged with first-degree murder.

CCTV footage showed that the defendant and his girlfriend walked back to the defendant's home in Lake City, Seattle, last Friday evening (9th). The next day, the defendant left the residence alone and took out the items wrapped in a towel from under his clothes.

A few hours later, the neighbors found a lot of water seeping out of the defendant's home and informed the defendant's landlord, which revealed the murder.

Two days after the incident, the defendant was arrested on suspicion of molesting and assaulting a nurse in the hospital.

Cruel method of committing the crime
The New York Post reported that after being arrested, the defendant admitted to the police that he had taken two "ecstasy pills" and smoked marijuana on the day of the incident, and said that "he might have killed" his girlfriend.

The defendant said that he strangled his girlfriend's neck, twisted her neck, and pushed her into the water in the bathtub.

He later tried to "wake up" his girlfriend in a bizarre way, "including sprinkling acai powder on her" and "placing a ball in her mouth."

Prosecutors said that when the deceased was found, her back was covered in blood, her throat was cut, an ice pack was placed on her throat, and a small object was placed behind her neck to support her head.

Officials said that the defendant was from China and started dating the deceased in January this year. The two had attended the same high school in Hawaii.

Honestly, I do not know why people want to "celebrate" 七夕 because it's a story where both of them met once a year. How is this relationship consider good? Which couple want to meet once a year only? If not, why even "celebrate"

Yes…. Your birthday is the day when your mother is having labor pains. Please stop celebrating on your birthday.

Other countries that hold similar annual festivals include Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and India. The Hungry Ghost Festival is one of several important festivals held during Ghost Month (鬼月) - the seventh month of the Chinese lunar calendar.

I will like to highlight misinformation for this post regarding 7th month Hungry Ghost Festival. It did not start from Hong Kong movies. It started all the way back by Tang Emperor during Tang dynasty. For more information, one can read from this article:

https://www.nlb.gov.sg/main/article-detail?cmsuuid=fe14c69f-7d05-4844-abae-de842064f5ce#:~:text=The very next day, which,of the Hungry Ghost Festival.
Also I bet many think the festival is a month long event but it is only for 1 day.
