The current fastest street legal bike is the kawasaki H2. This bike outruns even a modified nissan GTR. Go youtube youself. I have seen one on the road already.

Its track-only variant - Kawasaki H2R - is the fastest machine on the planet. Faster than bugatti veyron.

The most expensive ducati currently is the 2014 year ducati 1199 superleggera. It costs SGD$154,000 on the road. Its a bike, not a car.

Due to weight and power to weight ratio, superbikes should be always faster than supercars. :)

If it is not a stock bike vs stock car then of course anything goes. Bear in mind, there are also heavily modified bikes for drag races. :)

This view is quite mistaken... So very mistaken. Prior to the Kawasaki H2R, there was not a single motorcycle that could take on a nissan GTR..... Dont even mention bugatti veyron. There was really nothing. The superbike scene was asleep!!!!

It took all the resources that only kawasaki heavy industries had - to come up with a supercharged 2 wheeler that changed the game. Yes the same company that built your SMRT trains, gave us this amazing bike.

If you are only taking GTR and Veyron into consideration then yes you are right, it takes a H2R to even compete. :)

PS. I saw a parked H2R in Chile last year. It was a beauty.

So you must be into naked bikes. The most common ktm dukes in singapore are the 200 and 390. The bigger class 2 duke 690 and 1290 are not very common here.
