Buy a used gtx1070 (Ard 200) and tahan until rtx 3080 is out! Dont waste your money on soon to phased off gpu

If got ready stock will be immediate.
Otherwise wait 1 month or longer and maybe t-loan you a temp gpu to tahan first.

check your warranty first.
3 years if you never reg online.
if reg online with distro will have 5 years warranty.

hmm maybe try using electronic degreaser, clean the fans, re-do thermal paste,.
it could be dust or rust.

since you say is dead, no harm trying this.

if it revived.. it save you some bucks.. plus 1080 still a good card..

Resolution should not matter. I would switch back to another monitor and test to be sure its dead. If there is proof its dead you may want to try and service it yourself but only do this if you are confident on stripping down the card and putting it back together.

ok bro, thanks. cause i had been gaming with 1440p, so worried that my 1080 cant take it and died. If really still can't i will RMA it. still got warranty until next year.

Not a good time to buy a new GPU as the next gen is on the horizon. Do you have an older card you can live with temporarily?

This would be the recommended route to take for now because even if you do decide on the 2080 the price should drop with the release of the 3000 series. You can also review the "new" features and make an informed decision on your next purchase

do not have any older card to live with temporary. so if really no choice, i dont know what to do...
