As per subject title - worth to add? For better pcb support, thermal transfer or aesthetically appealing?

Keen to know more before burning my pockets for 3 pcs of metal plates...

it do cool down the 3g vram chip at the back of titan
but i was wandering how many c can be drop by adding back plate
most slightly will be give u a better look and protecting the component at the back

I'm also wonder by adding the back plates in-between my 2nd and 3rd cards - that will also close up the gap in-between those cards and not let the side fan intake more air hence making the whole heating scenario even worse than present state - am I right?

maybe 1 back plate for the top card?
btw what is ur load temp?
is it acceptable?
eg 90c?
titan stock bios tend to throttle down when temp is high if i not wrong

but if put only one back plate for the top card like weird leh.... haha

guess u r right, the TDP throttling down when the card is hot

when playing crysis 3 on 6040x1080 on everything very high settings my 3 cards hit between 76-85 deg in a 25 deg air conditional room....

so any advice?
