Current bidding system there's a big flaw. Everyone pays the same amount which is not fair. The amount is the last successful bidder +1 dollar.

Let's say I am very rich and I want to hoot one RR to make sure I get my car I bid high like 500K then wait for the rest to bid and when the last guy bid 120K so end up everyone pays 120001 for the same COE regardless what car you buy what amount you bid.

So to make it fair everyone bid how much will have to pay how much. Like that will prevent people over bid and push up the prices. If not everyone suka suka bid high then pay less than what the bidded

There are only so much COE per month. Might as well tell G to set a fix price and allow anyone to ballot. Pay $1000 per ballot ticket ( didn't get automatically contribute to LTA) instead of the ridiculous deposit that must be forked out now.

But no one at G is going against more money for the coffers. Because they know people (or car dealers) will outbid one another just to get that 10 year paper. Bank and business sure reap loan profit. Good for the economy.

so, I don't see an issue if the old car can pass the emissions standard
