It is really, really rare, but it does happen, what about it?

Because SPF will try as hard as possible to make sure you don't recourse.

From the way I see the system I don't think quite think it is possible. I know of one person first day injured down pes to PES C all the way LD untill he POC

It actually kind of depends how bad your injury is, and how long MC you have from the doctor. I had a friend, who went through 3 weeks of training, afterwards he had an injury then downpes to PES C; later on he recovered and up pes back to pes B1L1, then just did shooting, and his ippt, then posted out. His ORD date was affected though, he ORDed same time as the pes C batch from his intake.

Your unit should just schedule another day for you to do it again, till you pass. I had a friend who failed shooting twice. He was put on station duty, unable to draw arms, till he managed to pass.

Honestly, I don't really know how anyone can fail. But if you do, it really is a hassle having to head down to HTA again.

To be fair, it is also quite a hassle for PNSD, as they have to find a slot for you in HTA.

Don't forget your team, you will not be able to go our for patrols, as you will be barred from drawing arms. Of course, for those whose postings are just office hours, it won't impact you that much, but still.....

Try try try again~ I failed my VSC interview but somehow passed my regular interview maybe you'd wanna try the security industry before joining?


Or maybe there was something mentioned during he interview that the interviewers didn't like or a question that you couldn't answer or gave "I don't know/not sure" these won't close the door for you, but it's a minus point soooo yea._.

When you first pass out do you get sc1 or sc2 first? What's the difference between the 2?

When I passed out I was promoted to CPL(yay for old system), but I think that now when you pass out you will be SC1, then when you complete your vocational training you will be promoted to SC2.

The only difference as far as I know is the pay difference, an increase of $50. Do correct me if I'm wrong though....

recommended changes for Things to bring/wear on enlistment

Things to bring/wear on enlistment:

- Wear a comfortable shirt [t shirt or dry fit tee is the best] & long pants [dont wear jean] for oath taking
- enough underwear for 10 days [if you are lazy to wash, otherwise just wash it at the washing bay]
- Singlet (1 white/light grey to wear for all book out & book in - no3 attire not required to wear singlet inside)
- 2 Photocopied Qualification certificates
- few pieces of writing paper (pen & small notepad will be given but first 10 days you will be writing a lot of essay. Each essay ranging from 300 - 1000 words depending on punishment)

Hi what qualifications to bring for SAP school grad ah? A levels havent come out so technically should bring O level cert, so for SAP do I bring my year 4 results or smth? Thanks in advance!

Well, if you are studying in a government school, then SPF should have your details of schooling. If you have any details, like a transcript or report book of some sorts, then if SPF puts you in the wrong squad (happens sometimes) then you can change your squad to match your academic level.

If you are enlisting before your results release, they should know, and let you book out to collect your results.

The certificates are basically a confirmation of your academic level, and to correct the last results they have as some people take private exams or are home schooled.

Understand pns trainees can only bring in non-camera phones with max screen size of 4.3" last time. Any idea is the max screen size still at 4.3" or? Tks!

From TSC to SC1 only increase 20 from 560 to 580 -.-
From SC1 goes to SC/CPL but if jialat not promoted go to SC2. SC/CPL from 580 increase to 830+.

Not sure about that. I myself used an Oukitel K10000. 10000 mAh batt. Lasts the whole of confinement week hahaha. quite a big phone and the FI were quite impressed w it.


I have a question, I'm currently in PROCOM n is it ok to use non-issued boots. The current boots they issue don't really have good feet support. I have flat feet and the boots are not comfortable. The least I could do is get something more comfortable...
