If you are a serious gamer, you will need to learn how to DIY your rig, so that next time you can upgrade whatever you want, if you get those pre-built, chances are warranty will be voided for whole rig if you attempt to change anything yourself
Worth it if you're looking for a small form factor desktop gaming machine. Else if you're looking for max performance to dollar like all the replies, self assembling would be better.
Although Dell's on-site warranty is pretty good(assuming you get it), so depends on where you want a "maintenance-free" rig or best performance for the cheapest at the cost of self maintenance.
Also there is almost no ITX chasis that is as slim and small as the x51 that can be bought from retail in singapore that would fit x51 specs. At least not without much modifications.
