Everyone please watch for this dude by the name of simon jonathan in gumtree

He offers to buy laptops. He stated that he wanted to buy my yoga 720 and dell 9550. He shows a picture of a bank transfer by bank of america. However, it's absolute crap. I asked him for MT103 or SWIFT message as this would be provided by the bank if there is an overseas transfer. However, he totally ignored my message.

Now he threatens to wipe out my family.

How come he can hostage you? Money not in and goods won't be sold to him. Simple as that. He can call police even and 100% won't work.

The message contents what kids overseas and payment modes are almost similar for most scams i came across. That is why I always insist on COD.

Police will not do anything except taking in your report.

In fact bank transfer us a good way. Bank will have record of if sender actually transmit money to you and record if you actually received it.

Bank transfer ok for some situations, for deposits to prevent being aeroplaned.

Make a police report personally will all the details. Hes threatening your lives. Its a chargable offence. Just get this guy to pay for what he did or trying to do (scam).
