Update: limme calculate: 20HG kits, 10MG and 3RG and 10+AG? Close enough.

Haha, can't be you buy all 40 per year also.

Resin kits because bandai didn't release a version for that particular model and size. Details of resin can be quite good, better than bandai's. Just my 2 cents

details?o.0... i didnt know they had alot of details... i have seen videos of people making resin recast. Its like making a resin version of MG parts. Thanks for your opinions

Very excited for the gundam expo

I just realized that there was a RG Strike Rouge. It looks even better than the strike... I wonder who will make a perfect strike rouge

Wonder what will be the expo exclusive this time. I have a feeling that it would be a Unicorn or AGE kit.

Love the Dark hound design, i was expecting Girarga to be more better...but then the hand quite sucks..

I think it depends on the company that makes the resin but generally in my opinion, resin kits trades articulation and ease of building for higher levels of details and proportions. Also some models which only exist in illustration comes to life in resin form only.

Also IMHO, resin is a whole different level to plastic kits, mostly preparation. I can't even clear seam lines well much less to tackle broken resin parts etc.

While you're excited about exclusives kits, I'm seriously hoping that they bring back the $5 Action Base 3 again. It matches great with RG kits even though the last time they sold those, they included a holographic card with the image of RX-78-2 but with the text for OMNI GAT series Strike.

And I think the drills etc is dependent if it's just armour swapping resin conversion parts or full resin kit (Drill required for pinning the parts or magnet attach etc). I read only la these stuff but never actually made one. Maybe the elders can enlighten more hehe.

hoho..... you need more than screws and drills....

surface prep is miles away from injection plastics......... ejection fluids, flesh, air bubbles, fitting issues, pegging, roughness, mould defects are just some examples of issue you will face in resin kits

For injection molded kits, bandai and tamiya are consider very good and their quality quite consistent, there are other coys like TT, Dragon, Academy which may not offer qualities as consistent as bandai and tamiya will, but nonetheless its up to the modeller to repair and add on the lost details to it

H and nice Dark Hound, I like that AGE kits look close to their anime counterpart but a question, you don't like the side hooks? I myself find it an odd armament, like the Gundam hammer, there's just no natural equip point.

Sounds like the modeller must be very expert to do it....the Neograde Resin prices is damn high!!
