i'm trying to do a HG RX-121-1 Gundam Hazel without painting it..
I only intend to top coat it with a matte top coat.
Just wondering, can i use Mr Color Acrylic Gloss Coat, followed by Tamiya panel line accent, and sealed off with a Mr Color Acrylic Matte?

Will the enamel from the panel line accent eat into anything?

For air compressor, what brand do you guys recommend?

or is there a thread(link), on the different kind of review. As i am keen in getting one. But also not too expensive too.

Hobby Point sells the Sparmax Arism mini, but aint sure about the performance for air spraying of Gundam or Tamiya Cars.

You can take a look at this alternative.

It is a Hi Blow 40 air pump, and it is powerful enough to work with. I have used this pump for spraying metallic paints, surfacer using 0.3 and 0.5 air brushes. It costs about 200 quid and the air hose is about $.50 per meter.

Overall, the startup cost will be lower compared to a compressor which can do about the same I feel.

NICE!!! you ordered and they do ship to singapore?

Via a proxy, Yodobashi does not ship overseas themselves, so they sent the items to my proxy in Tokyo then from there, I arrange the shipment back to Singapore.

A quick word on the new Tamiya sharp nipper.

The packaging states it is good for cutting thin sprunes or hard to reach sprunes from the main runner. It is recommended that you do not use it to cut any other stuff as well.

I have half ignored that and used the new nipper to do my usual trimming. It gives an easy cut compared to the other Tamiya nipper I have been using since '07. As always, there will be leftover nub marks despite the smooth cutting.

The Mr Hobby sandpapers, nothing much to comment, it just works and degrades at the same rate as the Tamiya sandpapers. The only difference is they are sold in a pack of 4 sheets compared to 3 for Tamiya's with a very little price difference.
