ah ok. am using 0.3mm. will try 0.5mm. any changes for thinning ratio with 0.5mm ?

Use the usual thinning, 0.5 nozzle just simply sprays a larger area thats all.

The compressor/air pump + airbrush alone will be $300 - $500.

And there are other items like airbrush holder etc and other miscellaneous items as well.

u can get cheap airbrush for less than $50 and compressor for about $100. however, if u are into this hobby long term, u may want to invest in something better.

other things to consider will be whether u have a well ventilated place to do airbrush coz the fumes will be everywhere. u may want to get a spray booth with ventilation fan to suck out the fumes.

if u are interested, we have a scale modelling club in bishan CC that operates every sunday afternoon. we provide compressor and airbrush there. u can drop by to take a look. refer to facebook link in my sig for more details
