Guys, any idea where in Tokyo to buy cheap and rare Gundam? Also for SRW Kotobukiya?
Prefer in 1 location for shopping...

just go akihabara.
go yodobashi camera dept store for cheap kits.
for rare ones, u will have to hunt for them in smaller shops in akihabara

if u are looking for Gundam Tokyo Front (GTF) editions, go to the GTF store in Divercity in Odaiba

there is a Kotobukiya shop in akihabara. but I am not into koto, so didn't compare the price.

Buy from Yodobashi at Akihabara and forget about BIC camera.

Yodobashi have a wider range and availability.

the musha gundam tokugawa is p-Bandai or limited edition if I am not wrong.

It's limited edition...
Yup..I know will be hard to find in those standard malls....
But have to try la....For those smaller shop that you mention...is it around yodobashi area?

But I more concern on Alteisen and Cybaster....
Altesien is the 1/100 scale...its being discontinue for a long time....
That Cybaster is the premium edition...not sure if got in their shop anot...

Can anyone recommend what I should do to remove nub marks from my clear parts?

I've read about sanding, is that the only way? How much sandpaper is considered enough to target the nub mark?

For clear parts u shldnt be sanding it. Sanding will dull the surface no matter how fine ur sandpaper.
U can only try to cut as close as possible and use knife to slice watever is left

One great tip is you can sand clear parts with 2000 grit then use polishing compounds to buff it to shine again. That's how I do for my plastic car models.

painted surface cannot be sanded. sanding it will sand off the paint.

i think the color you are looking for is pearl white ?
there should be ready-mix pearl white. for spray cans i think choices are pretty limited to mr hobby/tamiya. if you're using airbrush then there should be more paints for you to choose from. iirc mr hobby also have pearl white color in different hue, with a hint of red/green/blue.

buy from hardware stores or sim lim tower, then attach them to satay sticks.

i didnt know that. but now i know.


anyone knows how to deal with this problem? the inner thigh of the gundam will rub against the inner skirt, and the thigh's paint will get chipped. how to prevent this ?? gloss coating ?
