Speaking of sales, Hobby Point has a 20% discount on Bandai items, and other discounts on their military kits as stated at their website: Welcome To Hobby Point. Picked myself up a GP02A MLRS Specs at $38.30 after discount, which is alright considering my long desire for it.

Hobby Point 20% off has been around almost forever
but for some items, they mark up slightly more than the SRP.
one example is the RGs, usually SRP is 52.95, their white label price is 53.90, so after 20% is 43.10.

I still frequent HP more than elsewhere tho, since it's nearer to where i am and it is still cheaper than most other places.
Best about them is that they occasionally have some discontinued/rare kits.

Haha yeah, I was kinda disappointed with the price since it's as high as those Comics Connection, Metro and Kiddy Palace kind before discount. The Tiong Bahru one is quite comfortable to browse since it was my first time there. Too used to Dhoby Ghaut's shops.

And speaking of rare kits, it was a nice surprise to see some HG Wing kits and the 1/144 Devil Gundam. Was damn tempted to get the Devil but decided on saving for Delta Gundam.

to be quite honest, i agree with Liang's point of view. a scholar should carry himself in a manner that shows he is befitting of the host country's scholarship. if he can't exercise simple self-control, then i honestly wonder what the sponsor of the scholarship saw in this guy...needless to say, my stand is against that china scholar and i can go on and on....

but this is a Gundam thread....so might as well get back on track....anyone going to get the LaGOWE? it looks really cool...and cute in a mecha kind of way~....

I'm a Age-1S fan~...hahahas...will see how when Spallow is released....

I have to agree with you on that!!! the Age-1S Spallow is just impressive~....easy to build...easy to take part....and extremely poseable~....it just sits so nicely next to my MG Astray Blue Frame >.<

It does look intriguing although if I'm going for 4-legged machines, it's either Zoids or the Gaia Gundam.

And I just finished my HG Unicorn Gundam and am quite satisfied with the decision not to paint it.

Alongside my other Unicorn-ish collection, leaving only the Banshee Destroy Mode left. I'm surprised with my fascination with the Unicorn mode, was even tempted to get the discounted RD on HLJ.

Nonetheless, the reason why I didn't bother doing much with it was due to previous experience:

From right: My first Gunpla, looking back was ruined by the matt white and thick blue panel lines. Also RX-78-2 decals don't really suit it, and it just look terrible.

The second one was also ruined when I used industrial white on it and then I decided to paint in a dark blue scheme.

Phobia from the 2 experiences, I left both Banshee and Unicorn untouched in the next builds.

Oh, just wanna mention that the Keiko's Unicorn decal works really nice [It's 1/100 scale for those interested] although you'll find that the precut might not be as sharp as Bandai's.
