No that gold is like how it looks. But after using RJ gold for this kit I realised something about it. Right after you spray it, it will be very shiny but after expose to air awhile it seems to have a layer of dull coating like oxidation like that then will look like that one in your kit. What I did was to gloss coat right after spraying an even coat of gold and waiting to be sufficiency dry

I also did gloss coat. wahahha...ok maybe lazy peeps like me nvr spray primer.

Your gold seems abit dull from yr pics... did you gloss black after priming the zaku first? Then followed by e gold?

i lazy to prime. only gloss black followed by gold. then gloss coat. or maybe i no shake or heat it well.

The gold for my inner frame was sprayed without primer or gloss black. Perhaps the original gold color of the plastic made it brighter.

Did u rem to sand down e inner frame before spraying?

Yeah. But still paint will come off at those point of contact with armor parts that slide on.

for this issue, either u prime it first or u gloss coat it after gold. the former someone told me here. the latter i experiences it myself and so far no such issue when u adjusting and posing them.

wah rich rich, how much did u buy it for. top coating clear will make it loss its gloss, u can try with 1 of the unused extra parts if u wanna see how it looks

I suggest u look for sliver0503 the no skill kia. shake and spray from spraycan only can start forum and teach people noob skills instead of proper methods.
