Just ordered a DM sword strike

Rearranged my display to make space for new kits coming in

I am gonna keep my EG kits somewhere else since my RG kits pretty much replace them

its a robot damashii effect base. it come with 3 or 5 bases per box I don't remember.. I got 1 box but only use 1 lol..

If you can't find the stands at Robo Robo, you can try the shops in Funan, especially La Tendo.

Hi everyone

I'm new to HWZ and seems like this is the only active thread on Gundam modelling in SG

Would like to ask you all for advice regarding spray painting!!

I'm currently working on the PG Unicorn Gundam. I intend to spray Tamiya's Pearl Clear on the psycho-frame parts (transparent red parts) to amplify the glittering effects as shown in the OVA series. I don't think its possible to spray a base coat of primer since these parts must die-die be transparent.

Is it ok to go ahead to spray Pearl Clear followed by a layer of clear coat on top?

Please advise!!

yup, for clear parts just spray clear colour directly onto the part.
for extra bling, polish the surface after clear coat using Tamiya polishing compound

Yup got full refund. Because for 5 days i was not able to track the item via the china courier using the provided tracking ID. Contacted the seller and was informed that item is restricted. What I heard is that the item can be shipped within china, but out of china might be a problem. Kind of foresee that as the katana is pretty lengthy and customs may classify that as a weapon (especially when it is made of metal).

Hey thanks for the advice!!

U see, I intend to install the LED lighting inside so when the lights are on, the psycho-frame parts will appear to be glittering than just a dull boring lighting.

Is the polishing compound going to make any difference?

Without applying primer, will my Pearl Clear spray be able to stick huh? I'm worried the paint will peel off eventually. And these parts gotta be transparent no matter what.
