I believe we can request public libraries to buy gundam books. Are there any good titles out there?

unfortunately, we currently do not have any formal courses due to poor take up rate.

but at the club, we help each other and share tips and ideas so all of us can improve. feel free to drop by and take look and we can try answer any questions u have on paints and diorama.

i am unfamiliar with diorama, so u will have ask others in the club. but if u have questions on paint, i can try to help. u can also post u questions in the gundam thread, there may be others who can help:

a few options for painting: handpaint, paint markers, spraycan and airbrush.

for starters, handpaint and spraycan will be better coz airbrush requires a huge start up cost.

handpaint will be the cheapest option. just a get a few bottles of aqueous acrylic paint from hobby shop, and a paint brush. but is not easy to achieve nice results coz it is easy to get brush strokes marks when handpainting.

spraycan will give u beautiful results that are close to airbrushing. just that it is going to be expensive in the long run.

gundam paint markers are ok for small areas, but similar to handpaint, it can have brush stroke marks, especially if u try to paint larger areas. not too cheap also. i wun recommend using paint markers.

I intend to change the whole color scheme of the gunpla. I guess markers and hand paint not going to look good.

can be done with handpaint, but definitely much easier with spraycan.

if cost is a concern, maybe u can use spray can for larger areas, and handpaint smaller parts

What thickness suitable for making swords and handle do u use tube shape pla plate?

sorry, i have no experience in scratch building from plaplate.. too advance for me. i guess 0.3mm and above shld be good enough for the structure, and 0.1-02mm for details
