why should highly skilled Big 2 Local fresh grad accept anything less than 6k?

I noticed China restaurant chain tend to be willing to pay their service staff well and in return the service at their restaurant tend to be quite good.

Unlike local SG restaurants, all their service crew usually face black black and the manager sometimes even worse... usually their manager is 1 fat auntie with attitude problem type

china understands service staff is front office staff like sales staff... if they motivated they will go all out to make customers staisfied and get good reviews and word of mouth

sg restaurants treat service staff as back office cost center, optimize and squeeze till black face poor service. then lose business and nobody wan to work for them, then they kp say nobody want to work for them

Yup .. f&b job sucks, only recently in the last few years their pay got a bump, but the sh!t still remains.. see sinkie diner chao bin, store sales target to hit, also ask customer for 5star google review, etc etc

One store mostly only one manager. Before you become a real manager, you still have to work as a basic worker for some time.

Job Description:

• Receive training and perform duties in various sections of the company’s operations such as the Service Department, Kitchen Department, Supporting Function Department etc;
• Gain deep and thorough knowledge of the company’s restaurant operation by rotating on each position;
• Learn from experienced employees to acquire information about methods, procedures, and standards required to perform and excel in your training;
• Progressively master the skills to run restaurant operations.
• Acknowledge and achieve performance goals and objectives defined by management.
• Consistently monitor individual performance and progression with your superior and management.
• Upon completion of all basic training, set new goals and objectives with the management for your progression in the company.
• Provide support as needed in various departments;
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by your superior.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate MUST possess at least a Diploma in any field;
• If applicants graduated from a university ranked in the top 100 of QS/US news list, the gross salary can earn up to $4,800.
