apple phones are meant to be used safely and peacefully. Not set this set that and waste time customising it.

My Pixel 8 Pro also brings peace and safety too. Did not customized anything since started using it.

Simplicity sells. Android users will never understand because they are so used to complicated and green line android phones.

apple for one thing even more than Samsung has more cutesy cases.

I was a sony z1 , z5 and Xz user.

the battery for Sony bloats and motherboard die just after the warranty over.

plus hard to find cute cases.

but do I love the micro SD slot, the 3.5mm earphone jack ? definitely.

I just switched over to Xiaomi and Poco cause easier to use custom ROM without all the DRM keys cannot take good quality video and photo.

probably also hard to find replacement batteries to self repair for Sony now that I know how to do it.

I used Sony Xperia z1 and xz1 too. No issues with bloating batt but batt drains quite fast.

The issue I had with that phone is that the charging port always had problems. Sent to service centre a number of times to repair.

Each time, by the end of 2 years, the phone got pretty laggy and batt drains quickly. Not sure is it cus I used 3rd party chargers?

Finally, I switched over to huawei about 4 years ago and the phone is still working fine till today. Only changed batt and screen once due to the screen cracking after dropping.

The new phones are not targeted for ppl who already have the newer phones like the 15 or 14…they are targeted at ppl who hasn’t upgrade for the past 4-5 years….which means the ppl that hold the 10 or 11 or even earlier phones…..

that’s why you are right that the upgrades are incremental….because they are not targeting the iPhone 15 users…..Apple is running a business….if they jam their phones each year with different innovation…..they will soon drive themselves out of businesss……

They are 200m iPhones that hasn’t been upgraded in 4 years……if 20percent decides to upgrade…it will be already be like 40m phones just from upgrades alone
