Yes, this puzzles me too.

I speculate he wasn't feeling well, that's why he almost cut into the junction right-of-way of other cars.

Another reason might be he was in an extreme rush to somewhere and he was not in a good state of mind.

His phone is the key, but dunno whether the phone was burnt until cannot recover data.

My guess. Porsche entered filter lane to KPE at very high speed. Overtook the cars all the way to the merging point. Tried to force its way past the vehicle in front at the merging point. The right wheels ran over the kerb there at such high speed that the right side of the car flipped up. The car skidded on its left side until stopped by the tree.

Nope, the Porsche did not enter the filter lane of the KPE entrance as show on one of the videos which he overtook the motorcyclist dangerously. He continued along Nicoll Highway and somehow hit the kerb and swerved into the gap in the guard rail in the bottom of your second photo and flew/entered the slip road at high speed. See the video in post #1533 #1534 at 11 seconds for the exact point of impact and entrance into the slip road

I think the reason why it lose traction is because it is a normal 911 base model. Base model are not design for rapid cornering ah…

I m incline to think if it is a 911 GT3 RS , it can wind through that corner at very high speed as that car has 1900 pounds of downforce with no frunk due to special design to add more downforce at the front… it also has a roll cage for added stability.

so if his laopei buy him a 1.4mil 911 GT3 RS, then this incident might not happen.. but another possibility is something wrong with that bend that will make every car lose traction.
