Carnage should be another Symbiote alien species but in the movie, it became carnage after drink venom's blood??

At least next movie may have spider-man in it

I think in the comics (in some editions i think) also, Carnage symbiote was born out of Venom and Venom ate Carnage symbiote after defeating it in the comics as well.
