If this is true, they wouldn't cooperate n do AI research in China. Where do u think china gets d knowledge to develop AI from? 😂

Sharing research n data with them.

N now hawley is tabling a bill to stop all cooperation with China becos of Wat deepseek has done. Becos they're not respecting AI IP.

deepseek is validation, not competition

essentially, you need a top chef to invent the meals before someone can copy the recipe

anyone who has read intro to economics will know that any business would want a monopoly in their market.
its up to the society and government to prevent that and to balance the interest between businesses and consumers
"free-market" economics was a scam perpetuated by business owners and corporations to maximize their self interest over the society

Don’t think it’s possible to have monopoly in AI, just reap the initial profits and move on to the next big thing

When America was leading, they will say they welcomed open market and competition.

When you are struggling to compete, that's what Donald Trump is doing, using tariffs and export restrictions to slow or contain your competitors and hence, competition is for losers.

Anyway, let's be frank, nobody is innocent.

Summary using Gemini:

The video discusses the US government's efforts to restrict China's technological development, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). The US government is motivated by the desire to maintain a monopoly for US tech companies in Silicon Valley, as exemplified by Peter Thiel's statement that "competition is for losers." The video highlights the hypocrisy of US tech companies like OpenAI, which accuse China of using their models while simultaneously using others' work and data without permission. The video also criticizes the US government's aggressive foreign policy and its attempts to maintain global dominance through AI technology. It concludes by contrasting the US capitalist model, which favors monopolies, with the Chinese socialist model, which encourages competition and innovation.

Monopoly will allow US Big Tech to overcharge consumers. That's not in consumers' interest. Not when free, open source AI, from China or anywhere else, is almost as good.
