4. Fresh Funds $30k - $88 cashback reward; est int 3.09% using Savings Pocket
5. Fresh Funds $40k - $118 cashback reward; est int 3.10% using Savings Pocket
6. Fresh Funds $50k - $168 cashback reward; est int 3.20% using Savings Pocket

Not just UP TO, but also assuming that saving pocket interest rate does not fall below 2.38%, that's why its est int, not guaranteed unlike last promo.

Its only last week that they mark down the saving pocket int. rate, who knows next 5 months, if they do another mark down??

I agree with you that the interest rate may be revised down in the future.

Regarding your comment on "estimated Interest, not guaranteed unlike last promo" - I compared with the previous 4.3% Boost Pocket promotion documents, it was worded the same "figures and estimated interest rate are in SGD and for illustrative purposes only, calculated based on incremental funds etc etc etc ................."

Tempted to fund on last day but the "1st xx " is hindering. Especially they didn't state clearly how many..
The previous promo, if I remember correctly, a couple of days after funding, GXS issue an ack email to confirm and then inform you to hold till DDMMYYYY ..... so if you fund on the last day this time round and didn't receive the email, bail out immediately :)

Why u talked about Mari sending an ack email when we r talking about GXS here?

This time round they exclude Boost pockets so they have the flexibility to adjust the rate up or down at any point of time? This is a smart move for them indeed.

Good point, was thinking to do the $50k but the risk of GXS revising their rates down during the 5 month lock in is not insignificant.

I was referring to another promo from last year, which I remembered the wording guaranteed with the cashback component as well. Not the boost pocket.

The problem is you don't know if during the 5 months period, it will revise downward you see. But in the meantime, you risk losing other earning promo rate opportunities.

I guess the response must be bad hence sent thr 2nd email.
People wait till last minute while earning interest elsewhere first. I also placed on last day.

After the 6 mth tbill 2.75% shock, clever of them to resend email to remind people.

Btw, CSO said will receive email confirmation within 5 working days after 27 Feb if enrolled successfully.
