Hackathon in Singapore

Hi Guys,

I'm pretty new to the tech startup scene in Singapore. I'm in the midst of organising a Hackathon in Singapore call AngelHack. AngelHack is a hackathon in the USA and its one of the biggest, being held at places such as Silicon Valley and NYC.

I would like to find out about how interested would you be for a similar hackathon in Singapore. Feel free to chat in this thread and I will try to reply to any queries as well.

Thanks for the replies.

Hackerspace.sg: I think Hackerspace.sg is a community for hackers instead of a hackathon competitions. I believe they do organise hackathon once in a while but they are more of a community where hackers gather and share knowledges.

Nus Hackathon: I guess the main differentiating point for AngelHack is that the winner from the competition will get mentorship from people in the start-up scene in Singapore, as well as a 2 weeks to Silicon Valley to network and pitch to investors.

if you are..seems good to me. Wouldn't mind joining. Most of the hackathons in Singapore are just one off, and hardly gives you the chance to move forward with your initial idea.
