I will only be in Japan for 6 days. All 6 days hotel booked in ueno. So no choice, just going hakone for a day trip. They have 1 day pass? Or just get the 2 day pass?

When purchasing the free pass off the ticket vending machine, do we reserve the seats for both return trips through the machine?

Reserve seats is only on romancecar if I'm not wrong which you would need to pay extra for..

The no extra charge line is free sitting..
