Flying on the same day -.- Not on the other day ... -.-

try agoda .
try find those with free airport shuttle transfer & Near Airport Area
Last time i book Phoenix hotel bangkok. Well good hotel service (Got Hot water, Free Internet Surf in lobby,Got Free Coffee pack... & Free Airport Transfer(arrange with the receptionist)

Bangkok Hotels

Anyway FYI, try exploring the neighbourhood, that is where many local thai are living around the area there, the food/restaurant will be pretty cheap i guess . Enjoy.

Thinking of the following hotels:
Grand alpine 36
Baiyoke Boutique 42
Metz 43
Pratunam Pavilion 46
Grand President 56
Furama Silom 57
Budacco 57
Bangkok Lotus Sukhuvmit by accor 71

Wont use agoda, because after applying the different discounts by different online booking portal, their price will most likely be cheaper than agoda :)

12pm check out. Flight depart at 9.05pm, will be staying at hotel until mayb 6.30pm :)

it's so trouble to bring everything and checkin to another hotel. Why not hang around somewhere and wait? unless you wanna tour all the hotels in bangkok :D

Hmmm, I think not worth going all the way to the city area and then back again to the airport. Like what the rest suggested, i think staying at a hotel near the airport is more feasible.

I had a very early morning flight, so the day before I checked into Grand Inn Come hotel. Can't remember exactly how much it is, about $40 a night iirc. Hotel was just 10 mins away from the airport. Location nearby has not much food, so upon recommendation from the reception, we took a cab (about 10-15 mins ride, S$5) to the largest shopping mall in bkk. Think it's called Bangna or something. Caught a movie and did some shopping at Zara.

And the next day the hotel arranged for us to be at the airport at like 4am via the shuttle bus. Since it was so early, it was only us in the shuttle bus. Lol.

Cause was thinking while staying around Pratunam area, can just shop first and rest first, before departing to airport. Somemore, the shuttle train to airport is located within 5 minutes walk , so can go to airport from there :)

Different sources, depending on which online portal provide the most discount codes. Hotels.com currently has 10% discount code, and hotelclub.com has 12% discount code. Most of the hotels has free cancellation :)
