Probably dependent on the cruise boat you set out with. Mine came with singles.

Mine only doubles but if you are single they will try to pair you with another single person.

I am thinking of joining the 3d2n party cruise at Halong Bay. Any opinions?

Halong Bay is a must go if you are going to Hanoi.

I went to 2D1N Halong Bay with Fantasea Cruise (booked with the hostel which I stayed) and also 2N2D at Sapa (took overnite train to Lao Cai Station then bus up to Sapa).

It is safe in Hanoi. I brought my kids along. They enjoy the trip.

I stay in old quarters area in Hanoi. Many eateries and shops there. Walking distance to some attraction. My hostel is quite cheap around USD35 for a family room. Breakfast provided.

That time mine is double. But who cares, you will meet many people in the cruise. Just make friend with them and ask them to partner with you if you need to. If not ask the tour guide to partner with you on the kayaking.

TS sorry to hijack your thread, but like to check, if i plan 4d3n trip from sg to hanoi is it too short, and what can i do in hanoi for 4d3n trip?
as from what i had research and read most of the attraction is like alot of time on traveling so if include the time for fly in and out i only left like 3 days time.
