hard disk dead and notebook gone ..

please help to advise

My old notebook dead after a minor acciddent and hard disk crashed ...

Unfortunately , i did not make a copy of recovery disc for win 7 and when i got this laptop , it also does not come with the disc


Is there any way to get a replacement copy with my win 7 product key ? planning to get a used laptop and a new hard disk

Do not expect recovery disk is the same for all brand and model.

If you have a Windows 7 disc for your desktop, then try install with the product key on the MS stick below your laptop. Of course, you need a new hard disk since the eisting one has already crashed. Alternatively, send to service if it's still under warranty. OR send it to some reputable repair shops at SLS.

Check underneath your laptop. It might have the windows 7 key labelled. Borrow a windows 7 (or you can download and burn in DVD) and insert the key when prompted during install.
