Does it show local disk (with drive alphabet) on my computer? And when you try to open, it keeps on loading until the bar moves to the end and hangs there?

Means that the hard disk is not formatted. Either it is really not formatted or it has been corrupted to the point that Windows cant even read the files.

Try use command prompt under admin mode go type in "Diskpart" to enter Disk Partition Utility, then type "list disk" to see if the drive is even detected by Windows or not.

Maybe you can tell us more on "suddenly cannot detect". What did your laptop say when you turn on your com?
Did you do something? E.g reformat. Or just a normal shutdown and start up then cant detect alr?
Is your hard disk ide or sata with all right cables connected properly?
Can you feel the hard disk spinning and getting warm?

https:// technet. microsoft .com/en-us/library/bb491035.aspx

Scroll to end of website read the examples.

xcopy F: D: /s /e /h

Where "F" is the letter of the disk you want copy,
"D" is the place you want to save your files to,
I guess s e h will copy everything

I believe most probably it's corrupted. I too had the same problem. I downloaded various recovery softwares and tried to recover as much data as possible. Once you're done recovering you have to format the drive using command prompt.
