Dear All,

I have been searching around the internet without any result so hope you guys can help.

I wanted to replace the harddisk of my sony vaio model: SVZ131A2JL. I found some videos but is for different model of vaio z.

Questions:
1) Can I replace it with normal harddisk that I buy from any shop?
2) How to replace it on my own? Any guide or videos that I can refer?

Thank you so much

What is your original capacity now? Is it a harddisk or SSD?
As far as we know, this model is an SSD version, it is proprietary 30pin ZIF connector RAID 0 SSD.
Good chance you can only get SSD from Sony only.
