Hardware advice for PC rig

Hi Guys, Im not very good with hardware and im looking for a slight upgrade to my hardware, as i have some money.

My current setup is
MOBO: GIGABYTE B85M D3H LGA 1150.
Processor: i5-4570 @ 3.2Ghz
GPU: Gigabyte Radeon R9 270 Windforce OC edition
PSU: Seasonic SS-620GM
1 TB WD HDD ,180GB Kingston SSD, 8gb RAM
Monitor: Samsung S24B350T

Any comments)is my rig ok/too old/still new) or recommendations for my hardware(what should i upgrade and which are sellable.
budget below $600 preferably.

PS; I put together this rig from SLS last year or before, and i think i screwed up on the cables so my dvd writer not working? Where can i get my rig looked at? Cyberactive?

1 more question, my GPU box says 3 year warranty but i dont have thee receipt anymore. Any way i can check if the warranty is still valid or obsolete? Thinking of upgrading my GPU so need to sell

ya dota2 runs fine, i guess i am looking for something to upgrade so i can play future games without worrying. my GPU is Radeon R270 Windforrce

MB is B35m D3H LGA 1150.

PSU is Seasonic SS-620GM

If you are playing mainly dota 2, upgrade later since GPU obselete quite fast. When needed then upgrade....

I am a mid to slightly heavy gamer, playing dota 2 mainly.

Looking for a slight upgrade to my ghardware, as i have4 some money and it feels a little sluggish.

Any recommendations for budget below $600 preferably, might want a new monitor too.

if u intend to upgrade, if u mainly play dota then no point upgrade gpu

Yeah, mainly dota 2 and cs go atm but i will play new games as they come out i.e. witcher 3.

I think your gpu still ok... chiu rather spend the money on new headphone or amp...

Your GPU is still okay at the moment, and also take this chance to change to a better dvd drive since you said your old dvd drive got screwed up

just keep your Rig and buy a dvd drive, no need to upgrade your GPU for now
