DIY Desktop: E8400 Core2Duo, 4GB RAM, GTX 460, SSD, Windows 7 (64 bit)

ASUS Laptop: i7-4700HQ (Haswell), 8GB RAM, GT 745M, HDD, Windows 8.1 (64 bit)

Do you know which system will perform better for the following tasks?

1. Processing images (especially RAW) using Photoshop CS6 64bit.
2. Video encoding/editing
3. MS Office
4. 3D game (e.g. Battlefield 4)

Laptop should be better. But dont expect it to game bf4 at high settings. Probably low mid settings.

1 to 3 , laptop wins.

No 4 will fail badly considering the desktop GTX 460 is about 1.5 times faster than the laptop GT 745M... Especially for 3D games that rely heavily on GPU tech e.g BF4. Playable at mid settings.
