Before reformat, my Window Explorer keep on hang/crash and I not sure why. I had reformat my com and the issue is still there .

1) Whenever i click on my D drive (WD black 4yrs old), my window explorer from slow to hang. My C (ssd),E(hdd),F(hdd) drive doesn't have this issue

2) My os (w7) was stored at my SSD and after reformat, Window bootup speed is like booting from HDD. 7/10 times, my com couldn't shut down

What is happening?:s22::s22::s22:

Check for pending sector count and uncorrectable sector in crystaldiskinfo.

My WD black has pending sector count which was reset to 0 by running the write zero in wd data lifeguard diagnostics.

Hi,

To RMA your WD HDD, first check with the online portal tool and see if it is still covered under warranty. If it is, proceed to do the RMA. Click on the link to check.. http://support.wdc.com/warranty/index.asp

You can use DBan to wipe your entire drive.
