nevermind i found out the cause already

i'm currently using google chrome Version 85.0.4183.102 (Official Build) (64-bit)

if i disable ublock origin on hwz, page loads fine

if ublock origin is enabled on hwz, the page will load finish first, but stuck at white screen for few seconds, then whole page displays

problem affects EVERY single page on hardwarezone.com.sg domain, this includes home page, news page, all forums, creating new thread, posting reply, etc.

i think is cause of ad blocker. seems like hwz trying to discourage ppl from using ad blocker?

Not sure due to ad blocker, I turn on and off AdBlock Plus, still slow as hell.

Phone Browser Mobile Mode OK
Phone Browser Desktop Mode OK
PC Desktop Browser Slow as Hell

Edit: after adding the filter recommended by jkohlc2, normal speed liao

Same problem as last time, download Ublock origin and reload the page.

For those using AdBlock Plus, the lag also goes away if you disable the following:

" Only allow ads without third-party tracking "

If you are on chrome

1. download AdBlock addin
2. Right click on AdBlock addin >>> Options >>> Customize >>> Manually edit your filters >>> Edit >>> add this in forums.hardwarezone.com.sg###sphm_overlay
