Has anyone been to Bhutan?

I'm planning to go there for a short trip, heard that it is the most happiest country in the world.

Planning to getaway from the stressed city life and enjoy myself whilst im still young. End of year probably.

Has anyone been to Bhutan before?
Can tell me what to expect there? Any cultural rules must i take note of/any laws that is unusual and easy for tourist to be involved in? etc

and how much was the trip(damage) for how many days/nights.

Have you tried to do some reading, at least on wikitravel?

Very short and important - you can't go there on your own. Period. Every foreign tourist required to be accompanied by an official guide and you must pay US $250-$350 per day for services. Want to go there for a week - make sure that you got US$3k minimum.

Bhutan is up in the mountains. End of the year is winter time.

And their winter is really tough, can you tahan?
