My chip's quite bad. 4.0GHz @ 1.2v, or am I doing something wrongly?

Push to 4.2GHz since your temp is good.

You can push further. At 1.2v you should be getting 4.4-4.5. Unless poor silicon

lol i read on another forum that a guy said he got his 4670k to 5ghz. I really doubt that and he refused to provide pictures.

i am getting the same vcpu at the same freq. good enough for me.

anything above 4.3Ghz@1.212 is not meaningful. i would keep to 4.3Ghz max. Currently doing 3.9Ghz at 1.188V. Cool and quiet

Actually why do you keep at 60++ Deg.

This type of temps is nothing.

Your CPU is safe to go up to 80deg.

Play around some more.

What is your fan speed? Did you install Corsair Link?

Did you connect the USB from the pump to the mobo USB 2.0 Header?

yeah have. my 2 fans are on default mode. should i change them?

the 2 fans can be detected on corsair link so should be correct.

Anyway my cpu temp on prime95

And to add on. I have stress test Intel Burn Test and Prime95 each for 6 hours EACH.

Results im getting did not surpass 81deg before. Max was like 79 80.

Try 4.6ghz @ my volt 1.256

yeah stock h100i fans.

run a while temps are like this. after 15mins it'll hit 83deg

Mine im using the Corsair SP120 performance.

So yeah. Mine is from the y splitter from pump. Overall nice temp.
