if they release on the week of 10th may, will they hit singapore stores on the same day as well? intending to get my rig but just called tradepac, they say msi 280x no stock, can only check on monday. and since im going away on a taiwan trip soon and will only be back on the 27th, currently thinking of "lun-ing" for a few more weeks and can get a cheaper price/better processor! hahaha.

Broadwell pushed to end 2014. I feel the main reason is due to lack of competition. Intel can afford to release refined versions of the cpu due to that.

4790 = 4770 + 200 MHz (Base), +100 MHz (Max Turbo). Nothing else.

YMMV.... Same as current Haswell... I won't think they are better binned than current Haswell...

Believe me or not, they won't make much of a difference....

The refresh to me is more of an excuse to delay 'tick' with issues on 14nm node process...

Series 9 mobos will be Broadwell compatible but you will still need a new PSU for Broadwell.

Intel has no competition, they can delay it till the end of time; they don't need any "issues" as an excuse.
