Hi all

Most of you should already know that the current first generation motherboards with the B85/H87/Z87 chipset comes with the USB3 mass storage bug, where a USB 3 mass storage device might get disconnected after resuming from standby... See Intel Confirms, Fixes Haswell's USB 3.0 S3 Sleep Problems for more info.

The second version of the chipset would only be available to manufacturers on 1 July, and would only be available to customers on 30 July. See Intel Fixes 8-series Chipset USB 3.0 Erratum | techPowerUp

See also 33 Haswell motherboard group test: 26x Z87, 4x H87 and 3x B85 - The USB issue: definitely there | Hardware.Info United States

Does anyone know if it affect laptops? Somehow I imagine that this would be a deal killer for some people, especially those who leave USB sticks plugged in and put their laptop to sleep while going for lunch...
