she saved $1.6 million outside of her investment.

But for most ordinary people with not much savings or not high income, the best bet to get that wealth is thru the HDB BTO and then upgrade to 2 properties. Either already designed for 1 owner and 1 occupier for BTO to later decouple, or to sell HDB and buy 2 condos.

For me, I think she could have done even better if she had focused on pumping the savings into properties.

still , she is a high income earner. they can tank 2 properties easily, with lots of spare
